Commercial property appraisals

The function of a real property appraisal is to assist in making intelligent business decisions. However, the type of report format and the valuation method utilized within each appraisal varies greatly depending upon the specifics of the property. 

  • Our appraisers will assist clients in choosing which of the three valuation methods (Cost, Market and Income) or a combination of these methods
  • We also help select the appropriate format (Self-Contained, Summary or Restricted) to meet the client’s needs

We understand the importance of a client’s ability to thoroughly understand and interpret an appraisal. In order to make our appraisal reports easier to interpret, we have recently undertaken a complete redesign of our report format.  The new format provides all the data that is needed within an appraisal, but the property data and resulting value opinions are presented in a more concise and reader-friendly format.

In addition to traditional appraisals, we also offer feasibility studies and market surveys to assist developers in ascertaining the market demand and potential financial benefits for proposed developments.

Residential property appraisals

Our state certified real property appraiser is a member of the HUD roster of approved FHA appraisers and is approved by the Alabama Real Estate Appraisers Board as a Mentor Appraiser.  Appraisals are provided for conventional and FHA lenders, relocation companies (ERC Trained), estate and litigation, and private individuals.
